Job Description
Our Events & Programming department is looking for a dedicated Events Supervisor to join the team.
Position Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Coordination:
Advance shows with tour and production management.
Coordinating event logistics, gathering client requirements, preparing setup details, and ensuring all necessary resources are scheduled.
Collaborate with Events Manager on ticketing strategies and with Marketing Specialist to build and implement marketing plans.
Event Execution & Oversight:
Oversee on-site event delivery, ensuring smooth operations, adherence to schedules and timely issue resolution during events.
Oversee all security operations, ensuring the safety of guests, staff, and performers at concerts and live events.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze ticket sales and event performance data to support strategic planning. Provide accurate reporting to the Event Manager to inform booking decisions, optimize pricing strategies, and enhance overall event profitability.
Staff Supervision:
Lead and support event staff, assigning duties, providing direction, and ensuring team performance meets organizational standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A Degree in one of the following: Marketing, Business Administration or Event Management. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience in live events. Experience performing market research to create and host large-scale events with 2000+ participants, administrative experience, financial experience, experience writing and managing contracts.
Preferred for this job: Event Management Certification from an accredited program, Pro Serve & Standard First Aid.
Hours:
The standard workweek consists of an average of 40 hours, with the specific schedule being determined by the immediate Manager. Evening and weekend work is required based on scheduled events and operational needs.
Compensation
E Band: $44.10 - $57.00 per hour.
