Job Title: Event Supervisor

This position plays a crucial role in the smooth execution of events at various venues. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience in event management or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the delivery of customer service and leadership during events.

Support the execution of events, working with event day personnel to ensure seamless execution.

Act as liaison between clients and building personnel on event days.

Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and fans.

Conduct event briefings for all event staff.

Ensure adherence to building safety policies and procedures.

Document incidents and concerns for follow-up.

Assist with administrative functions, including event details and scheduling.

Provide assistance to the Live Events team and other areas as requested.

Requirements:

Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Supervisory experience in event management or a related field.

Outgoing, organized, diplomatic, and self-motivated individual.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Able to exercise diplomacy and tact always.

Experience in a unionized environment and the live entertainment industry is an asset.

Proven ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail.

An ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction.

Work in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
