Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver and serve food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the Catering Manager and/or Supervisor
• Maintain the highest level of professionalism and service while abiding by AEG's service standards
• Complete opening and closing duties as directed by management
• Set up, maintain, and break down for all functions
• Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations
• Log and maintain food temperatures
• Arrange tables and decorations
• Serve food and beverages to guests
• Thoroughly clean location after event is completed
• Return food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to proper location
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand
• Adhere to the AEG Uniform and Grooming guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to obtain food safety certification and responsible ******* service certification
• Excellent customer service skills
• Catering experience preferred
• Pleasant, courteous, and enjoy working with people
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Remain calm under stressful situations
• Walk and stand for extended periods of time while navigating ramps, stairs and elevators
• Sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs.
