Role Purpose
Are you ready to bring people together and create unforgettable experiences? We’re looking for an Events & Engagement Officer to join our Communications & Engagement team. In this dynamic role, you’ll be the backbone of our events, awards, and partnerships, helping us deliver exceptional experiences for the Capricorn Community across Australia and New Zealand.
From managing community enquiries to coordinating activities and supporting on-the-ground event operations, you’ll play a key role in making every interaction meaningful and memorable.
What You’ll Bring
Customer Focus: Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for creating positive experiences.
Communication Excellence: High-level of written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
Organisational Strength: Outstanding time management and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to accuracy and quality in everything you do.
Team Spirit: Ability to collaborate and contribute to a supportive, high-performing team.
Experience & Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in event coordination, administration, or project management.
Collaboration: Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
