Job Description
The Role
This is a hands-on coordination role for someone who loves logistics and enjoys making sure every detail is followed up on. Working closely with the Events and Sponsorships Lead as well as the Marketing Director, you’ll help execute our presence at events, support sponsorship relationships, and ensure our brand shows up in memorable and meaningful ways across the community. This means you also consider yourself a craft beer aficionado and are excited to share your Quidi Vidi beer knowledge with the world, happily embracing the term “beer nerd.”
Events, Sponsorships, and Tastings
From small community appearances to large events like the Royal St. John’s Regatta, you’ll help bring our event activations to life.
Support the planning and execution of event activations from initial planning stages to setup to teardown
Help the Events and Sponsorships Lead coordinate event logistics including inventory, equipment, transportation, permits, and staffing
Attend and support on-site activations, ensuring smooth execution and brand standards are met
Swap a weekday with a Saturday night, a morning for an evening, etc. when events call for it
Great sponsorships are built on strong relationships and thoughtful execution. You’ll help support the Events and Sponsorships Lead in maintaining strong, positive partnerships.
Assist in coordinating sponsorship deliverables and ensuring commitments are fulfilled correctly and on time for all parties
Help manage sponsorship calendars, tracking documents, and activation schedules
Assist with gathering partnership assets, promotional materials, and event requirements
Support the Events and Sponsorships Lead in maintaining strong, positive partner relationships
You’ll also help grow and coordinate our tasting activations through hands-on execution, strategic outreach, and organized scheduling.
Assist with scheduling staff and executing various sampling events at liquor stores and other partner locations
In communication with the Events and Sponsorships Lead, identify and reach out to new retail and event opportunities to expand tasting opportunities
Ensure all tastings are properly staffed, prepared, and executed to brand standards
Help maintain positive relationships with retail partners and tasting hosts
Marketing
You’ll help extend the impact of our events and partnerships by supporting the Marketing Director and Social Media Specialist as needed across our marketing channels.
Provide support with social media content capturing, scheduling, and posting at events or sponsorship activations
Assist with other marketing initiatives and campaigns
You’ll Thrive Here If...
You’re highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time-management skills
You enjoy being hands-on and making plans come to life
You have a creative eye and understand what makes engaging social content
You communicate clearly, build relationships easily, and enjoy being part of a team
You are comfortable leading large groups of people and organizing staff schedules
You’re adaptable, resourceful, and calm under pressure when things get busy
You have a valid driver’s license, a vehicle, and are comfortable traveling locally
You’re able to lift up to 16 kg (sometimes the job comes with a few kegs)
But more than anything, you’re organized, reliable, creative, and excited to learn.
