We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our team in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you will support the planning and execution of a variety of events, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish. As an Events Assistant, you will work closely with event coordinators, vendors, and clients to ensure that all aspects of each event are handled with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including logistics, vendor management, and timelines.
• Ensure all event materials are organized and prepared ahead of time.
• Work directly with clients to understand their event needs and assist in providing solutions.
• Support event set-up, breakdown, and on-site management to ensure smooth operations.
• Help with budgeting, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to the event budget.
• Maintain communication with vendors, sponsors, and other partners to ensure event success.
• Handle event registration and guest lists, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
• Address any last-minute challenges or issues during events with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Previous experience in event planning or coordination is a plus but not required.
