Our staff are motivated people who support and train the next generation of Ninja Warrior athletes, Parkour enthusiasts, and OCR competitors. Specifically, we are energetic, outgoing, and athletic individuals with a sincere passion not only for these movement sports, but also for coaching and fitness. Our Events Coordinator creates and fosters a positive customer experience for guests who may be new to our unique, obstacle-based training community.
Position Description:
As Events Coordinator, you'll promote, facilitate, schedule, and coordinate staffing for parties and special events. Special events include competitions, gym rentals, field trips, Kids’ Night Out, and other special events. This dynamic role combines customer service, event hosting, and a passion for play and movement. As our party host, you will collaborate with guests to provide a fun, exciting, and physically active experience within our obstacle-based gym that blends structured, coach-led activities with open gym time for participants ages 5 and up. As competition host, you will also coordinate with our Ninja, Parkour, and OCR Teams to host the best competition events in the region.
No obstacle experience? No problem! We’ll train the right person. Schedule is flexible; weekend shifts are required.
Primary responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
• Promote, schedule, and coordinate special events, including competitions, birthday parties, rentals, and community events.
• Host parties and events as the primary point of contact for families and guests. (Weekend availability required.)
• Communicate with clients before and during events to ensure a smooth, memorable experience.
• Set up and decorate the party room, prepare supplies, and help organize the gym floor for safe and engaging obstacle play.
• Schedule, support, and collaborate with coaches to run structured games, activities, and obstacle challenges.
• Monitor the gym floor as a spotter and “lifeguard,” ensuring safety and fun for all participants.
• Clean up and reset spaces after events, maintaining the gym’s high standards for cleanliness and presentation.
• Maintain accurate records of party bookings, attendance, and waivers.
• Represent Altitude Movement positively to parents, kids, and community partners.
• Assist with occasional front desk duties, such as answering calls, greeting guests, and checking in participants.
Experience & Qualifications:
• Experience in recreation, hospitality, events, or customer service - preferred!!
• Background and/or training in Parkour, Obstacle Course Racing (OCR), Ninja Warrior obstacle competitions, gymnastics, and/or climbing - preferred!!
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Energetic, outgoing personality with a passion for working with kids and families.
• Strong attention to safety, customer service, and detail.
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Must be comfortable working in a physically active environment and willing to assist with obstacle setup and supervision.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training provided if needed).
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.

Primary Shifts:
• Saturday: 12:30 PM – 5:30 PM (until * PM once/month)
• Sunday: 11:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Admin time: negotiated and as needed
• Additional events as scheduled (Kids’ Night Out, school break camps, etc.) during week days.
• Front Desk and/or Coaching opportunities available for the right person.
Schedule & Compensation:
• Part-time (15 – 30 hrs/week).
• Hourly pay based on experience, starting at $17.00.
• Incentive compensation tied to Key Performance Indicators as determined by the Managing Member.
Employment is subject to satisfactory background check and drug test.
