Reports to: Head of Marketing
Mission
Drive pipeline and revenue by owning the end-to-end strategy and execution of high-impact events that align with our ABM strategy, elevate brand visibility among enterprise buyers and partners, and accelerate sales cycles for our high-ACV SaaS platform.
Key Responsibilities
• Event Strategy & ABM Alignment
• Develop a quarterly/annual events calendar prioritizing conferences, trade shows, webinars, and bespoke executive roundtables that directly target Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts in the ABM pipeline.
• Collaborate with Sales Leadership to identify key accounts and design tailored event experiences (e.g., VIP dinners, custom demos) to advance deals.
• Partner with Channel/Alliances teams to co-host events with strategic partners, amplifying joint value propositions.
• End-to-End Event Execution
• Own logistics: Venue sourcing, vendor negotiations, budget management ($100k+), swag production, and on-site/virtual operations.
• Drive pre-event promotion: Work with Demand Gen and Content teams to create targeted campaigns (email, LinkedIn, paid ads) to boost registrations and engagement.
• Ensure seamless post-event follow-up: Equip BDRs with lead lists, talking points, and CTAs to fast-track outreach within 24 hours.
• Brand & Industry Leadership
• Secure speaking slots, sponsorships, and thought leadership opportunities at marquee industry events (e.g., AWS re:Invent, Black Hat, Gartner Summits).
• Build relationships with event organizers, industry associations, and media partners to maximize brand visibility.
• Track and report on brand lift metrics (social mentions, press coverage, attendee sentiment).
• Revenue Accountability
• Measure event ROI: Pipeline generated, influenced revenue, CAC per event, and deal velocity acceleration.
• Use tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, and 6sense to attribute event impact to closed-won deals.
• Optimize spend by reallocating budgets to top-performing channels (e.g., shifting from broad trade shows to hyper-targeted account-based webinars).
Requirements
• 5+ years in B2B event marketing, with 3+ years in SaaS or high-ACV ($20k+) environments.
• Proven experience scaling events in alignment with ABM strategies (familiarity with tools like Demandbase, Terminus, or ZoomInfo).
• Strong project management skills: Ability to manage 20+ events annually with budgets ranging from $5K to $100K
• Data-driven mindset: Expertise in tracking metrics like attendance-to-MQL conversion, pipeline contribution, and post-event engagement rates.
• Exceptional stakeholder management: Comfortable working with C-suite, sales teams, and external partners.
• Willingness to travel 25–30% for key events.

• Existing network of contacts in enterprise IT/security/cloud ecosystems.
