Responsibilities
The Event and Office Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of DCWAF by managing both office administration and event coordination
This individual will work closely with staff, volunteers, and community partners to ensure smooth office operations while planning and executing events that align with the organization's mission and goals
The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
Plan, organize, and execute a variety of events including wine auctions, board meetings, wine dinners, and donor appreciation events
Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual needs, transportation, and volunteer management
Assist event registration, marketing materials, and communication with event attendees, sponsors, and partners
Assist in the creation of event budgets and track expenses to ensure events stay within financial guidelines
Manage day-to-day office operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining office supplies
Support staff with scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and preparing necessary documentation
Maintain accurate records and databases, including donor lists, event RSVPs, and volunteer rosters
Assist with mailings, including donor acknowledgments, newsletters, and other communication materials
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for events and office support
Foster positive relationships with community stakeholders, donors, and volunteers
Assist in tracking volunteer hours and providing feedback and recognition for contributions
Provide administrative support to senior leadership, including preparing reports, presentations, and other organizational documents
Assist in the creation of marketing materials for events, such as flyers, newsletters, and social media content

Key Responsibilities:
