The ideal candidate will have experience in event planning and be able to manage all aspects of wedding and event planning. The Wedding and Events Planner will work closely with clients to ensure their vision is brought to life, and be resourceful and adaptable to manage any unexpected changes or challenges that may arise. Responsibilities: Plan and execute weddings and events, including managing budgets, timelines, vendors, and logistics. Meet with clients to determine their needs and preferences, and provide recommendations for venues, catering, décor, and other event-related services. Develop and manage timelines and schedules to ensure all aspects of the event are executed flawlessly. Manage communication with vendors and other stakeholders, and negotiate contracts and rates to ensure the best possible service for the client. Manage event-day logistics, including set-up, breakdown, and coordination of vendors and staff. Troubleshoot and problem-solve on the spot to ensure a seamless and stress-free event for the client. Assist with photoshoots Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in event planning or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in event planning, preferably in the wedding industry. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and vendors. Resourceful and adaptable, with the ability to think on their feet and manage unexpected challenges. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, as required. Ability and willingness to travel around the city to meet with vendors and organise events.
