Position Summary
The Portsmouth Marriott are looking for a Events Team Leader/ Event Support Expert wanting to deliver first-class restaurant experience at the world leading hospitality company Portsmouth Marriott Hotel. Located near famous landmarks such as the Spinnaker Tower has a range of amenities including: Cast Iron Bar & Grill, our signature restaurant and fitness centre.

What you’ll do as a Events Team Leader/ Event Support Expert
• Prepare coffee breaks, carts and stations with appropriate supplies
• Organize tables, action stations, buffets, and carts for service
• Communicate any additional meal requirements or special requests to the kitchen
• Ensure courses are properly cleared and crumbed in a timely fashion
• Manage the presentation of tableware so that it is accessible for the guests
• Monitor cleanliness and proper sanitization of tables, stations and service areas
• Lead shifts and Serves as a role model to our fantastic banqueting team
• Lead on delivery of our amazing range of conference and events
• Organize the day to day running of our events to ensure a smooth and seamless operation
• Support the Restaurant and Bar operation within our Cast Iron Bar and Grill.
• Works closely and efficiently with our passionate Sales and Events department
