Event|Venue Coordinator

Location: Manukau City, Auckland

Category: Event Management Jobs

Waka Pacific Trust owns and operates the Due Drop Events Centre and Vector Wero Whitewater Park in Manukau and exists to give back to the local youth community.

The events centre is one of Auckland’s premiere venues for conferences, exhibitions, meetings, and more, while the Vector Wero Whitewater Park is a world-leading artificial water course for recreational and competitive rafting and kayaking—making us a one-of-a-kind venue to work in and sell.

Every delegate who attends an event with us helps to support our youth through our creative arts, youth development and water safety programmes.

The opportunity

You could be our next event superstar, joining our busy team as a venue coordinator looking after our medium to large-scale events. You will also be looking after events at the Whitewater Park.

Working collaboratively with our industry partners, including caterers, audio-visual and other suppliers.

Drawing event floor plans, compliant with H&S requirements and considering logistical decisions that impact event delivery.

Management of ticketed events, including designing floor plans and event set-up in our ticketing platform.

Conducting site visits with prospective clients in their venue selection process.
