Job Description
The Early Warning System [EWS] team is involved in engaging with various teams at the Bank to identify incipient signs stress in the corporate and business banking portfolio by proactively monitoring triggers.
Role specs:
1. Analysis and validation of EWS alerts based on tracking of borrowers and portfolios
2. Contribute in analysis for identifying borrowers at the Bank that need close monitoring and for identifying Red Flag Accounts, engage with business and credit teams, putting together presentations to internal committees and summarising the deliberations thereof, through minutes of meetings
3. Executing checklists to ensure effective EWS system functioning and highlighting any issues in the production environment
4. Tracking of exposures and generating list of counterparties to be included in the EWS system for monitoring based on exposures, on an ongoing basis
5. Validation of private internal raw data basis which the alerts are triggered for the private risk signals in the EWS platform, on an ongoing basis
6.Ensure and validate periodically, effective integration of internal systems with the EWS platform
NOTE: Role is across levels based on work exp.
Candidate specs:
1. CA/MBA.
2. Must have hands on experience in Corporate Credit Risk Analysis preferably evaluating proposals from either Large Corp or Mid Corp and MSME segments together with integrated evaluation of EWS Signals for recommendation of weak accounts /RFA tags
3. Conversant with risk policies, a fair understanding of the regulatory framework .
