Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Excavator Mechanic located in Ghana, Africa. The Excavator Mechanic will be responsible for maintenance, preventive maintenance, maintenance & repair, troubleshooting, and working with heavy equipment. He will perform routine maintenance, conduct thorough inspections, and utilize advanced diagnostic tools to identify and address mechanical and electrical problems, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
Maintenance & Repair and Troubleshooting skills
Perform regular maintenance tasks, including lubrication, fluid checks, and filter replacements, as well as repairing or replacing worn parts.
Identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, using diagnostic tools to pinpoint the root cause of issues.
Experience in Heavy Equipment maintenance
Preventive Maintenance knowledge
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively in a team
Previous experience as an Excavator Mechanic is a must
Technical certification in mechanical or related field is a plus.,
