Job Description
ÂProject Engineer, you'll be installing, demonstrating, and troubleshooting all Optical based PIDS products and software. The role will be based at Eratronics facilities but will include work at customer sites around the world and may require extended periods of working away.
Job Profile involves frequent travel to site location in India for commissioning & testing PIDS (Perimeter Intrusion Detection System)
Job Description
· Demonstrating the setup and operation of our products, software and auxiliary equipment
· Being part of a team responsible for the development and maintenance of documentation for installation and commissioning of our projects
· Working with our Engineering team to ensure problems are highlighted and develop improvements together
· Training our customers on the operations of the solution and auxiliary equipment
· Assisting with data capture and interpretation of data collected for customers and new product development
· Helping identify and then implement initiatives critical to business objectives. Deliver on business-critical related projects, including the rollout of key products
Expected Contribution
· Ability to use optical test equipment such as OTDR's and knowledge of splicing fibre
· Change mindset. Bring new ideas to the table, help us develop our ways of working and continue to improve our customer experience
· Team player mentality.
· Secondary language is preferred but not essential. With the variety of states, we work in, speaking a second language would be advantageous
· Comfortable being part of a team that can be deployed globally for extended periods of time.
