Job Description
Our practice is growing — We’re building something real. A community. A standard. A space that actually means something.
We’re looking for another Occupational Therapist who wants more than just a job and enjoys empowering people to live their best lives as much as we do.
We’re looking for someone who:
Genuinely cares about the people they support
Takes ownership of their work
Wants to be part of a team that is doing things a little differently
This isn’t a role where you’re expected to just “see clients and write reports.”
This is for someone who wants to:
Think
Contribute
Grow
Be part of something meaningful.
Not just on an individual level, but on a team and collective level also.
We are Evolving Mind Body and Soul — a boutique team of mental health and well-being occupational therapists, practitioners and other allied health professionals supporting individuals with psychosocial, emotional, behavioural, sensory, and social challenges.
Our work is grounded in both:
Evidence-based practice
A deeper understanding of the human experience
About the role
You’ll be working with children, young people, and adults across community settings, supporting them in ways that are practical, personalised, and make a recognisable difference in their day-to-day lives.
This role is flexible and autonomous working remotely — but not isolating.
You’ll be supported by a team that values:
Collaboration
Empowerment
Communication
Continuous growth
What you’ll be doing
Assessing, planning, and delivering therapy sessions
Writing clear, high-quality reports
Supporting clients with emotional, behavioural, sensory, and social challenges
Working across different environments (clients home, community, group settings)
Communicating effectively with families, carers, and stakeholders
Contributing ideas and working on projects agreed upon to constantly improve how we support our clients and grow as a service
Who you are
This role will suit someone who:
Is passionate about working with people who are experiencing mental ill health, autism, ADHD, behavioural challenges or a circumstantial life crisis.
Takes ownership of their caseload and follows things through
Is organised, but adaptable when working in real-life environments
Communicates clearly and respectfully with both clients and team members
Is confident working independently, while still valuing team connection
Has a genuine interest in mental health and holistic support
Is open to learning, evolving, and refining their practice
Doesn’t just follow a checklist, but actually thinks about what will work best for the person in front of you then this is the role for you
What we value
Our team is built on:
Conscious contribution to others
Open-minded collaboration
Honest communication
Personal and professional growth
We believe:
Healing is not one-size-fits-all
People deserve to feel seen, heard, and supported
That meaningful work comes from alignment — not just ticking boxes
The practical bits
Degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
Full AHPRA registration
At least 2 years experience in mental health or a similar setting (or strong relevant experience)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Right to work and live in Australia
This role is for someone who:
Wants a seat inside a community that values alignment over ego
Wants to growth over comfort
Wants to contribute and believes in standards over shortcuts
Is innovative and wants their work to actually matter
Why join us?
Flexible working arrangements (including telehealth and work-from-home options)
Above-award pay, super, and travel reimbursement
Ongoing professional development and growth opportunities
A supportive, collaborative team environment
A workplace that values both your professional skills and you as a person
Ready to apply?

Send us a cover letter that tells us who you are and why you're a great fit, not just a list of what you've done, but why you do it. Include your current CV and the names of two professional referees.
