Battery Field Executive
Location : Delhi NCR
Experience: 1 to 4
Purpose of the Role:
To source, onboard & procure battery waste materials from local battery shops, distributors, service centres, and battery industries. Take care of all collections and achieve a monthly target of battery collection. Additionally, work towards behavior change through as needed from time to time.
Key Responsibilities Areas :
• Mapping the market and relationship building with potential sources i.e., Retailers, distributors, local battery shops, service centres, and battery industries.
• Initiating and running campaigns on developing and promoting behavioral change in the local market.
• Offline & online reaching out to different stakeholders (esp. service center, and battery industries).
• Collaborating with central team for quality checking, sourcing & collection of materials.
• Ensure regular supply of battery waste as per quality norms to the collection center to meet the monthly targets.
• Ensure the movement of battery waste from collection centers to recyclers identified by the central team in liaison and alignment with the logistics, quality and finance teams.
• Liaising with the Quality and Assurance team for material QC & QA for every pickup
• Ensuring quality documentation by liaising with the Assurance, Procurement and Logistics team for every pickup and shipment.
• Coordinates the day-to-day transactions on procurement & shipment of batteries and ensures that all transactions are updated on Karo’s mobile app.
• Helps & supports the monthly audit of the local warehouse.
• Identifying and building relationships with the local market battery dealers.
• Ensuring and maintaining the profitability of the canter.
• Supporting various teams with regional work with respect to different stakeholders (with Procurement, QA, Accounts, and Logistics team etc)
• Should be comfortable traveling outside the local city for collection and relationship building.
Key Skills :
• Proven direct sales/procurement experience in channel/dealer/Retailer, distributor/B2B/B2C market.
• Experience in relationship management with vendors.
• Good Communication skills in English, Hindi & local/regional language
• Very good geographical, cultural, and political knowledge of the area of work.
• Experience in market research, mapping and onboarding potential clients/customers.
• Must have active problem-solving skills, listening skills, critical thinking, negotiation skill, decision making skill and logical reasoning.
• Daily travel to meet the stakeholders. Possession of owned 2-wheeler & laptop/Android phone will be helpful.
• This is a field-intensive job and should have knowledge of the local market
