We are dedicated people who provide corporate governance advice and corporate secretariat services to the Commonwealth Bank Board of Directors and its Committees, and to our subsidiary companies and their committees.
Your Role:
Reporting to the General Manager Listed Advisory & Projects and the General Manager Subsidiaries, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Provide efficient, professional delivery of administrative, secretarial and business support to two General Managers, anticipating their needs and successfully managing competing priorities
Providing superior and executive level of support– maintaining a professional approach at all times (both internally and externally) and a high level of confidentiality
Reconciliation of manager expenses
Coordinating internal/external meetings with clients/stakeholders, as required – including liaising with Executive Assistants and arranging meeting room bookings
Arranging travel, events/functions/offsites/team building events (including catering where required). Assisting the General Managers with team management, engagement and managing processes
Participating in team meetings – coordinating agendas, assisting with the documenting and delivery of actions
Providing HR support and assistance with recruitment requests, onboarding/offboarding team members, while adhering to the Group’s policies and procedures
Making a positive contribution to the smooth and efficient operation of the Listed Advisory & Projects, Subsidiaries and broader Group Secretariat teams through positive engagement, proactivity and a willingness to assist.
Providing ad hoc administrative support to the wider teams
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
Experience in Executive / Personal Assistant positions in the Legal or Banking & Finance industry or similar environment
Superior skills in Microsoft Office and MS Teams
Experience in managing projects
The ability to manage workflow, priorities and competing demands, work well under pressure and be flexible
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude and a desire to make a difference
High level of professionalism – face to face, over the phone and through correspondence
Self-motivated individual, who displays a pro-active style, has exceptional attention to detail and an inherent desire to provide excellent customer service.
