Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a trusted strategic partner to the General Manager, providing executive-level administrative and operational support in a fast-paced structural steel environment.
Act as the central executive liaison, managing complex calendars, communications, and priorities with a high degree of discretion, judgment, and autonomy.
Evaluate, prioritize, and synthesize incoming communications; prepare executive briefings, summaries, and recommended actions to support informed decision-making.
Develop and deliver polished executive reports, presentations, and internal communications for leadership and operational teams.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across operations, sales, vendors, and customers to ensure alignment and timely execution.
Support project oversight, scheduling, and workflow optimization within structural steel operations.
Analyze data and prepare advanced spreadsheets, dashboards, and executive-ready materials using Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Maintain, safeguard, and manage highly confidential contracts, records, and executive documentation.
Lead or support high-impact special projects and continuous improvement initiatives on behalf of executive leadership.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of structural steel operations and terminology
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a proven track record of efficiently handling multiple projects and priorities.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while maintaining a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
Deep understanding of office administration practices, clerical processes, and recordkeeping systems.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and quick to learn new tools and technologies as needed.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in the structural steel industry (fabrication, detailing, estimating, operations, or related field required)
Minimum 5 years of executive or senior administrative support experience
Bachelor’s degreeor equivalent years of experience.
Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related technical discipline
Spanish bilingual preferred, but not required
