Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.

Your future duties and responsibilities

In this role, you will be the trusted partner and right hand to a Business Unit Leader, enabling them to focus on delivering business growth and strategic initiatives. You’ll manage complex schedules, coordinate events, and ensure communications flow smoothly across CGI and with our clients. Your professionalism and discretion will ensure that the BU Leader’s time is optimised, priorities are met, and operations run seamlessly.

You’ll take ownership of executive administration, drive process efficiency, and contribute to a culture of collaboration and excellence. Acting as a key liaison between the BU Leader and stakeholders, you’ll play a central role in ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment across all activities.

Key responsibilities include:
Lead & Coordinate: Manage complex diaries, travel, and logistics with precision and foresight.
Facilitate & Communicate: Draft correspondence, prepare materials, and ensure timely responses on behalf of the BU Leader.
Organise & Deliver: Plan and execute business events, meetings, and forums, ensuring impactful outcomes.
Support & Enable: Provide confidential administrative support, and cover peers where required.
Streamline & Prioritise: Identify priorities, manage workflows, and act as a trusted gatekeeper.
Collaborate & Connect: Build strong relationships across CGI and with external partners to enhance operational effectiveness.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring extensive experience supporting senior executives within a complex, fast-paced organisation. You’ll be proactive, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple priorities while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

Experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leaders.
Strong Microsoft Office and business administration skills.
Proven ability to manage complex diaries, travel, and stakeholder communications.
Experience coordinating large events and producing professional materials.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive, organised, and flexible approach with strong problem-solving ability.
High level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information.
