Executive Assistant - Permanent Full Time
We are seeking a proactive, outgoing, and organised Executive Assistant for the Deputy Chief Executive (DCE) of our Strategic & Corporate Services (S&CS) Division.
About the Role:
As an experienced Executive Assistant, you will provide exceptional support to the DCE, enabling them to focus on strategic goals and aspirations of NZQA, the S&CS Division, and its people, now and into the future.
If you have experience managing a senior management team, their diaries, and work life, possess an understanding of a Strategic & Corporate Services environment, and want to work in a busy, challenging, and satisfying environment, this opportunity is suitable for you.

You will be an excellent organiser and communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence outcomes, and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment are required.
You will thrive on diverse tasks and work well under pressure to meet deadlines. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing enquiries and requests
Organising and maintaining the DCE's diary
Dealing with general correspondence, drafting letters, and taking minutes
Organising meetings, events, and ensuring the DCE is well-prepared for them
Dealing with incoming correspondence, including Ministerial correspondence and Official Information Act requests
Editing and production of documents, briefing papers, reports, and presentations, and undertaking necessary research as required
Supporting the Chief Customer Officer in calendar/email management and other S&CS managers for their administrative support as needed
