Your New Role
A rare and exciting Executive Assistant and Administration Team Leader role has become available within Aware Super's Investments Team. The role is responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to the CIO, the Investment Strategy team, and the Investments team as required, as well as managing and leading the administration team.

How do you exceed our expectations?

You bring the following:
5+ years' experience as Executive / Personal Assistant within the finance industry
Team leadership or people management experience (highly preferred but not required)
Advanced computer skills, in particular Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote
Strong planning and organisation skills - reliably manages several priorities in parallel; maintains flexibility; task focused, with high attention to detail; resourceful and follows through to completion
Typing speed of at least 70 wpm
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated initiative and capacity to think ahead
Excellent attention to detail
Exercises sound judgement and diplomacy in making decisions independently when needed and maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team, willingly helping others during workload fluctuations
Prepares documentation to high standards of accuracy, with speed and efficiency
Communicates tactfully, effectively and confidently across a range of audiences and stakeholders, including Board and senior levels
Exhibits strong interpersonal skills including composure under pressure
