About the role

We're looking for a dynamic Executive Assistant to deliver high-level, forward-thinking administrative support to our Director of City Property!

In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure the smooth operation of the business area by delivering a range of administrative and support functions within a complex, political, and multi-faceted organisational environment. You’ll expertly manage competing priorities, streamline daily operations, and most importantly, anticipate the Director’s needs before they arise.

The branch is responsible for managing and protecting Council’s $4.7 billion property and asset portfolio, including strategic property management, facilities and venue management, workplace services, building maintenance and long term asset planning.

The branch leads and manages key projects that support environmental and social sustainability, address strategic property matters and guide long term asset renewal. It also provides strategic advice on commercial and community focused developments and maintains strong relationships with landowners and tenants, operators, suppliers, contractors, and government agencies.

What your experience might look like

Substantial experience in an administrative support delivery function with the ability to anticipate support needs and multi-task within a fast-paced, high volume and multi-faceted business environment.
Highly developed customer service skills and demonstrated ability to be professional, diplomatic, assertive, discrete, courteous and maintain confidentiality.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment supporting productive relationships with people at all levels.
Ability to develop, implement and maintain sound systems and processes to drive efficiency across administrative functions whilst leading and educating others within a continuous improvement environment.
