Salary: $+7,633 - $112,278 per annum + 11.5% superannuation

Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive Council committed to serving our vibrant community on the eastern beaches of Sydney. We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant with a strong background in event coordination, capable of providing a high level support to the Director Community and Culture

We’re seeking someone who enjoys variety in their role – someone who can work independently with confidence while also being a proactive and collaborative team player. A passion for organisation, attention to detail, customer focus and event planning is essential.

About the role:

Inbox Management: filter emails, draft responses and ensure timely follow-ups.

Diary and calendar management: Schedule meetings, prioritise tasks and ensure Director Community and Culture is well prepared.

Document preparation: Prepare high quality reports, presentation and correspondence.

Administrative support: Quotes, payment processing, running data reports. Provide some administrative support across the Community & Culture directorate

Organisation and event planning: support the Director Community and Culture, and teams across the Directorate with event planning.

About you:

Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally with some event management experience

Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills

Strong multi-tasking abilities with the capacity to prioritise effectively

Ability to work autonomously and make decisive, well-informed decisions.

Excellent interpersonal skills – a natural people person who enjoys connecting with others.
