About the role

The Executive Assistant to General Manager sits within Business Economy and Activation Division and offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-level executive support at the heart of City of Melbourne’s operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of a General Manager’s office, supporting strategic priorities and enabling impactful outcomes for our community.

Working in a fast-paced, complex and highly visible environment, you will act as a trusted partner and “gatekeeper” to senior leadership anticipating needs, managing competing priorities, and ensuring seamless coordination across the organisation.

You’ll be exposed to a wide range of projects, stakeholders and initiatives, providing you with a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful, city-shaping work while operating with a high level of autonomy and professionalism.

Prepare high-quality correspondence, reports, presentations and briefing materials
Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes and follow-up actions across senior stakeholders
