About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Executive Chef to join our dynamic team at Brisbane Airport. This role involves supporting kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the smooth preparation of meals for large-scale catering operations for various airlines.

This is an opportunity to deliver high-quality dishes while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of chefs, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring strict hygiene standards are maintained at all times.

The ideal candidate will have proven knife skills and experience in food preparation, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Previous experience in a chef or kitchen hand role is highly desirable, as is strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, and dicing in preparation for cooking.

Maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring everything is in top working order.

Assist with stock rotation and ensure ingredients are stored correctly.

Support other chefs and kitchen staff in daily kitchen operations.
