Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Bulk Catering Specialist to join our team at Reedy Creek, Surat Basin region. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our clients in a remote mining accommodation village.
Key Responsibilities:
Bulk cooking for Breakfast and Crib Lunch, or Dinner and Desserts
Ensuring OH&S compliance and adhering to safe work practices and food handling procedures
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
Assisting Head Chefs in managing team performance and employee development
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
Minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery
Bulk Catering Experience
Experience working in remote locations on roster arrangements (desirable)
Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
Experience in menu writing, rostering and cost control
