Role Responsibilities
The GAM is the strategic advisor to the Client, accountable for the overall client group revenues, profitability and risk acceptance (AML, CDD and Credit). The GAM is responsible for establishing and maintaining an end to end understanding of the client group structure and client needs and steering the client relationship through Account Planning
Strategy
• Actively participate in the India Client Coverage Team to help determine the India CCIB strategy which aims to maximise shareholder value, identifies and creates areas of competitive advantage and aligns to the overall strategic direction of the wider business.
• Responsible for: (i) managing the implementation of India CCIB client segment strategies within the portfolio and ensuring alignment with Country (ii) marketing and positioning strategies as a framework within which the client segments and product groups operate; and (iii) ensuring the CCIB marketing strategy supports this. Such strategies must be aligned to the overall strategic direction of CCIB and the Group as well as the Group Code of Conduct.
• Collaborate with India CCIB Head responsible for implementing regional and country strategies for the Groups within the portfolio.
Business
• Responsible for delivery of agreed business performance targets (Revenue, RoRWA, RWA, costs, etc.) for the portfolio.
• Responsible for the proper management of client relationships, client service and and ensuring the fair treatment of CCIB clients in the portfolio.
• Responsible for appropriate classification of clients to either Regulatory or Group appropriateness standards and sale of products accordingly.
• Responsible for Complaints handling in accordance with Group standards.
• Responsible for distribution of marketing materials and communications to clients.
