Job Title: Executive Director of Corporate Real Estate
Location: Atlanta, GA
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the VP, Global Real Estate, this position executes the mission, goals, and strategies of NCR Atleos’ global real estate initiatives. Areas of focus include supporting GRE’s capital planning efforts, portfolio optimization, and integration of real estate operations through our third-party real estate services partner.
The ideal Executive Director of Corporate Real Estate candidate should have strong leadership skills, experience leading a global team, the ability to communicate with individuals across the organization, and a broad understanding of real estate, construction, and facilities operations practices.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
The Executive Director of Corporate Real Estate is responsible for providing strategic direction for functional areas of responsibility, supporting the region(s) real estate portfolios, managing both internal and external resources in support of projects of varying complexity, and developing and implementing new projects, policies, and procedures to meet global real estate goals.
Additionally, the CRE Executive Director’s responsibilities include:
Proactively drive portfolio transformation and optimization.
Work with GRE leadership and senior business leaders to develop and execute global real estate strategy.
Evaluate financial analyses for complex real estate projects.
Manage seamless integration of real estate operations through a third-party service partner to ensure program delivery across all functions – transaction management, capital projects, workplace strategy, occupancy planning, facility management, and finance.
Work closely with senior management to validate capital and operating budgets.
Ensure proper business tools and processes are followed globally; support the development of business tools and processes as needed.
Manage special programs as needed to support evolving global business strategy through the lens of NCR Atleos’ real estate footprint.
Handle multiple initiatives and priorities to support primary GRE objectives adjusted as necessary to changing corporate strategy or NDA projects.
Demonstrated success managing real estate portfolios across multiple geographies, with sensitivity to regional regulations, cultural norms, and market dynamics.
Champion change management initiatives to align real estate operations with evolving corporate strategy. Inspire and lead cross-functional teams through periods of transition.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in real estate, architecture, construction management, finance, business administration, or related field.
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in corporate real estate, including at least 8 years in a leadership role within a large, global organization.
Strong relationship management and leadership skills.
Ability to lead complex projects across regions with high attention to detail.
Proficiency in program management.
Experience working in a fast-paced, corporate environment.
Travel: 10 - 20%
