Job Title: Executive – Finance
Location: Yewai, Bhiwandi
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Finance Executive to join our team and manage key financial operations, including book closures, accounts payable & receivable, profitability analysis, variance analysis, reconciliations, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Book Closures
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures in compliance with accounting standards.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting with proper documentation.
Prepare and review the monthly profit & loss (P&L) statement and highlight key variances.
Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
Monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely collections and follow up on outstanding payments.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve payment discrepancies.
Financial Planning & Analysis
Conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actuals) and provide insights on cost deviations.
Assist in preparing profitability reports to support decision-making.
Develop forecast reports to predict revenue, expenses, and financial performance.
Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations.
Ensure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
Work closely with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/ master’s degree in finance & accounting
3-4 years of experience in accounting & financial operations
Strong knowledge of book closures, AP, AR, P&L, and forecasting
Proficiency in variance analysis & reconciliation
Advanced Excel skills: familiarity with ERP/accounting software is a plus
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
