Job Summary:
Context:
This role supports bank reconciliations covering multiple EMEA markets. The individual performs financial entries ensuring completeness and accuracy in line with SOX controls and local statutory requirements, as well as providing support and reporting to multiple business stakeholders. This is a backfill of a current employee and the role is integral to controls preventing risk to cash and fraud within our control environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare month end bank reconciliations, aged open item reports and ensure timely completion of financial entries.
• Monitor & review clearing of incoming and outgoing cash payments. Research & resolve aged open items with the wider business stakeholders and escalate to Cash Manager on items >30 days
• Support on internal and external audit requirements, as well as ensuring controls within process to align with SOX and local statutory requirements
• Support the Cash Manager in overall preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts, including co-ordination of all schedules, reconciliations, and reporting packages
