About the Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Dispute Resolution lawyers to join our team as Senior Lawyers. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and sensitive public law litigation matters, advising and acting for Commonwealth agencies on national security and law enforcement related matters.
This role involves working on sensitive national security litigation matters, advising on applications for control orders, and managing issues concerning the disclosure and protection of information in civil and criminal proceedings. You will also have the opportunity to support community interests through pro bono work and undertake advocacy work and appear in various court jurisdictions.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need experience in managing litigation and dispute resolution matters, particularly in law enforcement or national security related litigation. A minimum of 5 years' PQE for Executive Level 1 roles and 7 years' PQE for Executive Level 2 roles is preferred.
You will ideally have experience supervising junior lawyers, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure. You should also be able to clearly articulate technical arguments and draft advisory opinions.
