What’s the role?
Join Westpac’s Risk team as an Executive Manager, Risk Committee Governance and play a leading role in shaping how the Group manages risk through committees and governance.
You’ll advise stakeholders across the bank, help design tools and practices to improve oversight, lead risk reporting and governance training, and support continuous improvement across Westpac’s Risk Committee Ecosystem.
You’ll also act as Secretary to a key Second Line Committee and help uplift risk governance across the bank through collaboration, insights, and trusted partnerships.
This is a permanent position, with hybrid working arrangements, based in Sydney.
What do I need?
Strong experience in governance, risk, legal or compliance
Ability to influence and work confidently with senior stakeholders
Skilled in writing, presenting, and managing complex governance frameworks
Calm under pressure with sound judgment and attention to detail
Comfortable with leading training sessions and improving processes
A team player who’s proactive, accountable, and builds trust
