Job Purpose:
We are looking for a high-caliber Executive/Senior Executive - MIS & Cost Control to manage financial data, prepare reports, and implement cost control strategies. The role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in data management, and a focus on optimizing operational costs in the logistics and shipping sector.
Main Responsibilities:
• MIS (Management Information System) & Reporting:
• Develop, maintain, and analyze financial and operational reports for management.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for business decision-making.
• Automate report generation processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Coordinate with IT and finance teams to ensure data integrity and system improvements.
• Cost Control & Optimization:
• Track and analyze cost structures, including freight rates, port charges, and operational expenses.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in logistics, procurement, and vendor management.
• Implement financial controls to reduce unnecessary expenditures and improve profitability.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to maintain budget discipline.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Monitor actual costs versus budgeted costs and provide recommendations to management.
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis for major investments and process improvements.
• Data Management & Business Analytics:
• Maintain financial dashboards and databases for real-time monitoring.
• Perform in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
