Job Description
Your Key Responsibilities
Manage the key inputs to the Queensland Worker Screening Services annual management, planning and reporting cycle, including Service Delivery Statements preparation and reporting, strategic plan development, risk and business continuity planning and Parliamentary Budget Estimates processes.
Research, analyse, prepare and coordinate briefing notes, reports or requests requiring whole-of-division responses.
Develop and implement effective processes and procedures to support the Executive Director and the Queensland Worker Screening Services Leadership Team.
Research, analyse and evaluate sensitive and complex issues at the request of the Executive Director.
Identify, develop, implement and maintain strategies, structures and systems to ensure the provision of effective and efficient support to the Executive Director.
Develop and maintain strong relationships and networks with clients and stakeholders within the department, and with other public sector agencies and external groups, including liaising and negotiating at a senior level and representing the Executive Director as needed.
Applications will remain current for 12 months.
