Job Description:
Job Title (Designation): Executive Officer Department: IT (Data Center)
Reports to: VP-IT Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Required Qualification: Diploma in Engineering Preferred Qualification: Any Graduation Degree
Skill, Knowledge &Trainings:
Basic knowledge of Unix, Linux, Window 10, Oracle etc. “L2 level” knowledge of IBM Tivoli / Spectrum Protect, HP Data Protector.
Core Competencies:
Should have worked on IBM Tivoli /Spectrum Protect, HP Data Protector
Should have worked on Unix / Linux Platform
Functional Competencies:
? Should have knowledge of Inventory management / Documentation related to Datacenter Operations.
? Should have basic Knowledge of PAC, UPS & FM 200 Fire Suppression System.
Job Purpose: To be a member of Data Center Operations team. Shall be responsible for overall Data Center Operations in 24 x 7 work environment.
Area of Operations Key Responsibility
BOD & EOD Perform BOD &EOD at each working day as per procedure mentioned in SOP.
Database and Application To Start & Stop database and application, switching of application logs etc.
Backup Taking backup through IBM Spectrum Protect, HP Data Protector and first level of troubleshooting, Taking OS Backup, Media management.
Daily website update Regularly uploading files on website to keep the website updated.
Monitoring Physical monitoring of critical equipment's in Datacenter / Network Room and escalating the issue observed to the concerned team.
Documentation Maintaining Job sheet, log sheet, reports and other relevant documentation in Data Center.
Any Other Requirement: Should have good communication skills and co-ordination with peer & other teams. Should perform material in / out activity in absence of concerned team member.
