Responsibilities for Executive Protection Agent
Provide a visible, reassuring security presence for executives and staff, while delivering exceptional customer service.T
Act as a first responder to security threats, including active shooter scenarios, within the client’s office suite
Monitor and inspect physical security infrastructure; locks, cameras, access control systems to ensure operational integrity.
Produce detailed, timely reports on security incidents and maintain clear communication with GSPS leadership.
Assist protective agents in field operations, including advanced walkthroughs, secure transportation, and body coverage.
Enforce company policies regarding access, photography, and sensitive areas with professionalism and authority.
Follow GSPS protocols during emergencies, prioritizing the safety of executives, staff, and guests.
Conduct regular security sweeps and live monitoring of surveillance systems.
Collaborate with visiting security teams and facilities management to ensure seamless protective operations.
Qualifications for Executive Protection Agent
Be authorized to work in Canada
Hold a valid BC Security Worker licence
Canadian Passport or Permanent Resident Card ( Required )
BC Driver’s Licence
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Ability to Pass Criminal Background Check (Including Fingerprints if Required)
Ability to Meet Employer Drug & ******* Screening Requirements
Prior military, law enforcement, or Emergency Response Team (ERT) experience - an asset
Specialized training in crisis management, emergency management, or incident response - an asset
CPR / First Aid Certification - an asset
Canadian Firearms Licence (PAL or RPAL) - an asset
Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) or equivalent first responder medical certification - an asset
Familiarity with Corporate and/or Residential Security Technologies, Tools, and Processes - an asset
