Job Description
Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention for the assigned area, product line, market segment wrt assigned customer accounts and achieve sales target.
Role & responsibility
• Pursue sales leads; visit existing and new customers. Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
• Responsible for collection, order booking and achieving sales target for assigned area, product line and market segment
• Respond to more complex customer enquiries negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority, and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets
• Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business
• Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the SBU so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands
• Develop long-term sales plans for key customers and accounts and monitor and adapt sales activities so that these objectives are met
• Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales & collection plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met
• Responsible for approval of products from Utilities.
• Interact with Energy Ministry of respective states, regulators on policy matters related to our products.
• Coordinate with Application Engineering team for providing information on new application, products to existing and new customers
• Monitor competitor activities including market share, products and applications. Mentor less experienced sales representatives to achieve their sales targets
• Experience
• BE Electrical, MBA preferred
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Leadership skills, Analytical & business accumen
