Job Description:
In depth knowledge of Textile/Apparel Industry in terms of retail sales, sourcing, sales and business development.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Manage retail sales and mktg and develop apparel business – Ethnic/traditional wear.
2. Keep updated about latest trends in the industry.
3. Work closely with various retail outlets, fashion houses and reputed apparel brands.
4. Associate with apparel distributors/wholesalers/shops to promote and sell our brand.
5. Implement market strategy based on competitor markets.
6. Achieve target based sales as specified.
7. Work closely with cloth wholesalers and production units.
8. Focus on quality and negotiate best rates.
9. Process orders and coordinate for billing, collections, dispatch and logistics.
10. Maintaining proper records/MIS and update management on timely basis
11. Keep track of sales and taking corrective steps wherever required.
12. Build long term association with retailers for repeat business
13. Regular visits to each outlet to develop rapport and ensure proper display of our range.
14. Travel extensively within local markets and out station as required.
Soft Skills:
• Fluency in English and local languages.
· * Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning.
• Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks and prioritize with attention to detail.
· * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Has to have a two-wheeler with valid driving license.
