Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare review packs including FDS, OSA, Super, and Insurance Research.
• Collect and analyze client information from various providers via phone or provider portals.
• Conduct product cost comparisons using comparison tools.
• Generate insurance quotes and support with technical and compliance knowledge of financial planning strategies.
• Proficiently use financial planning software (e.g., XPLAN, COIN).
• Prepare comprehensive Statement of Advice (SoA) and Record of Advice (RoA) documents.
• Ensure compliance with Australian financial services regulations, including the Corporations Act and ASIC requirements.
• Review supporting documents from an audit perspective.
• Process application forms and manage lodgment for implementing financial strategies.
• Effectively manage workflow, prioritize tasks, and meet client deadlines.
• Continuously improve workflow processes to enhance paraplanning team efficiency and quality.
• Provide proactive support and suggestions to clients for achieving their financial goals.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and deliver high-quality work in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
• MBA in Finance, M. Com, CFP, or with significant relevant work experience.
• Executive: 1-2 years of paraplanning experience within the Australian Financial Planning industry.
• Senior Executive: 2-4 years of paraplanning experience within the Australian Financial Planning industry. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and teams independently.
• In-depth technical knowledge of financial planning strategies and compliance requirements.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage workflows, and improve processes for better team outcomes.
