Job Description
The Tasmanian Government is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join the Civil Law area within the State Litigation Office.
Key Responsibilities
Provide reception, administrative, word processing, and clerical support to legal, administrative, and clerical staff, particularly with Abuse in Care matters.
Undertake a wide range of clerical and administrative duties to support the efficient and effective delivery of civil and advice law services by the State Litigation Office.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
A current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (employment).
Pre-employment checks including: Arson and fire setting, Violent crimes and crimes against the person, Sex-related offences, Drug and ******* related offences, Crimes involving dishonesty, Crimes involving deception, Making false declarations, Malicious damage and destruction to property, Serious traffic offences, Crimes against public order or relating to the Administration of Law and Justice, Crimes against Executive or the Legislative Power, Crimes involving Conspiracy, Disciplinary action in previous employment.
Benefits
This is a fixed-term, full-time position for 2 years. You will be working 73.50 hours per fortnight, with flexible options available.
