Job Summary:
The Executive / Sr. Sales Executive/ Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth within their assigned territory. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies and building strong relationships with customers/Dealers in the life sciences/Health/ Diagnostic sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth for life sciences consumables in the assigned area.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, and academic institutions.
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for product development and market expansion.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest developments in life sciences consumables and provide product knowledge and technical expertise to customers and sales team members.
Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to assess performance and make data-driven decisions.
Customer Support: Collaborate with customer support and technical teams to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Compliance: Ensure that all sales activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
Travel: Travel within the assigned territory to meet with customers, attend industry events, and conduct sales meetings as necessary.
Qualifications:
> Bachelor's degree in a life sciences or related field; a master's degree is preferable.
> Proven experience of 1-3 years in Chemicals/Lifesciences/ Diagnostics/Glassware Product Sales.
> In-depth knowledge of the life sciences/ Diagnostic/ Chemical industry, including understanding products and applications.
> Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
> Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
> Ability to work independently and manage a remote sales team effectively.
> Proficiency in using sales and CRM software.
> Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
