Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for providing exceptional service to our customers. As an Appliance Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various household appliances, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. Your expertise in appliance repair and customer service will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair a wide range of appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.
Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform repairs and maintenance on various equipment.
Provide field service support by traveling to customer locations.
Assemble and install appliances as required, ensuring proper functionality upon completion.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their appliance issues and repair processes.
Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Experience
Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician is a must.
Familiarity with refrigeration systems and HVAC systems is a plus.
Strong electrical experience related to appliance operation is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently while demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
A background in equipment repair or assembly will be beneficial for this position.
**MANDATORY**
Must have:
Own vehicle
Own tools
Own gas
Own general liability insurance
Uniform: blue jeans, company shirt, black shoes.
1 week trail period
4 calls minimum (20 / 15 sold)
must be able to purchase your own parts (credited back on pay with receipts)
Payday is held back one week, paid every Friday. (Must submit pay invoice by end of Saturday or pay will be late)
We withhold $500 deposit, given back after 3 months.
2 weeks notice is a must.
