The Role
Working closely with teams and clients, you will help bring architectural concepts to life. By considering both aesthetics and functionality, you will be responsible for designing and planning buildings and structures.
Duties include:
Working as a CAD operator/modeller
Carrying out sketch design work
Carrying out work associated with preparing Architectural Planning application submissions
Carrying out Site Analysis and Site Context Analysis
Liaising with and coordinating the various requirements and activities of Clients, Consultants, local Councils, and authorities
Relating designs to relevant codes, BCA, and local council requirements
Skills & Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
An AACA accredited Master of Architecture
3+ years’ experience post-graduation
Knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes & planning ordinances
Excellent communication skills – visual, verbal and written
Experience in ArchiCad a must
