We’re looking for an experienced Backhoe / Trackhoe Operator who takes pride in precision work, works safely, and knows that a machine is only as good as the operator behind it.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in underground utility, pipeline, sewer & water, or civil construction preferred
Strong understanding of safe excavation practices
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Class 3 with Air Brake endorsement is considered a strong asset)
Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude
Safety tickets/certifications are considered an asset
Required
Experience operating backhoe and/or trackhoe equipment
Reliable transportation to and from the shop (our shop is not located on a bus route)
Own steel toe boots (all other PPE is provided)
Working Conditions
Minimum 45 hours per week with opportunity for overtime
Outdoor work in all weather conditions
Physically demanding work involving lifting, pulling, and handling heavy materials
Fast-paced construction environment where safety and teamwork matter every day
This is not a “sit in the cab and scroll your phone” kind of role.
We’re looking for operators who know their machine, respect the crew, and can make clean work look easy.
