Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a wide range of products including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
Decorate cakes and other baked goods according to customer specifications or seasonal themeFollow recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality in all baked items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
Package baked goods for display or customer orders while ensuring freshness and presentation.
Collaborate with team members to manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their selections and answering any questions they may have about products.
Skills
Proficient in kitchen operations with hands-on experience in baking techniques.
Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations within the food industry.
Strong skills in cake decorating with an eye for detail and creativity.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent communication skills for effective customer service interactions.
Familiarity with restaurant environments is a plus, as is experience in packaging baked goods for sale.
