Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and craftsmanship, with the ability to create high-quality cabinets and furniture pieces. This role requires a blend of technical skills, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. As a Cabinet Maker, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw materials into functional and aesthetically pleasing cabinetry that meets our clients' needs.
Duties
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
Utilize hand tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble wood materials for cabinets and furniture.
Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit using glue and clamps and reinforce joints using nails, screws or other fasteners.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Requirements
5 years of proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar woodworking role.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
Basic electrical knowledge related to cabinet installation is an asset.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
