Ian Robinson Transport Ltd are looking for an EXPERIENCED HGV CLASS 1 TRAMPER DRIVER for general haulage and hazardous waste in the UK.
Based at:
Bamber Bridge, Lancashire
Job Type:
Full time HGV driving work
Salary:
£13.00 per hour Monday - Friday
£14.00 per hour on Saturday
£15.00 per hour on Sunday
Breaks, tolls and parking paid plus £25 night out.
Bonus available for rope & sheeting and moffett and other jobs.
HGV Class 1 driver job role:
You will be covering general haulage and hazardous work across the UK.
We operate flatbed and curtainsider trailers. We predominantly do flat bed work (rope and sheeting)
Our regular work pattern is Monday to Friday with the potential for weekend work.
We are looking for tramper drivers that have experience of UK work and are able to do multiple nights away each week, as and when deemed necessary by the workload.
Driving hours will be as per the EU Tacho regulations.
The successful candidate must have:
Full HGV C + E Class 1 license, held for at least 2 years
Driven a HGV lorry in the last +0 days
Digital tacho card & CPC
ADR Qualification (not compulsory)
A good understanding of driver hours and regulations
A good understanding of the working time directive
Excellent geographical knowledge of UK road network
Roping and Sheeting experience
Flexible approach to work
Customer focused attitude
At the start of employment each driver is provided with a full corporate uniform and is allocated a vehicle. (We operate a one vehicle / one driver policy)
