About the Role: Club Kotara is currently seeking experienced Cooks to join its passionate culinary team. These full-time positions offer an excellent opportunity for hospitality professionals who thrive in a high-energy kitchen and are dedicated to delivering quality food with creativity and care. With a competitive salary package of AUD 70 - 80K per annum plus superannuation—and flexibility for the right candidates—this role offers room to grow in a supportive, team-focused environment committed to culinary excellence and community connection.

Regularly prepare, cook, and season various foods according to the menu.

Portion and present food as required ensuring the set quality.

Ensuring proper storage per controlled temperature guidelines.

Estimate the quantities and costs of supplies needed, such as food and ingredients.

Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure they meet established standards.

Support senior chefs in planning and developing recipes and menus by providing input and assistance, ensuring adaptability to changing internal and external factors

Routine kitchen operations, including stock rotation, and necessary paperwork on a daily basis.

Set up, clean, and organize workstations efficiently.

Prepare ovens, utensils, and grills for shifts.

Cook orders in compliance with food health and safety standards and dietary requirements.

Maintain a strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (WHS) and HACCP protocols.

To be considered for this role, you should:

Be willing to relocate if you are interstate or in other cities.

Be available on both days at weekends and be able to work split shifts.

Certificates III & IV in Commercial Cookery

Have at least 2 years of work experience as a COOK

Ability to work in a team.

Excellent communication skills.
