About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Dental Assistant with dental reception experience to join our close-knit team. This is a dual role, with responsibilities split between chairside assisting and front desk reception duties.
You will play a key part in the patient journey – from welcoming patients at reception to assisting during complex restorative and implant procedures.
Duties include:
Chairside assisting for specialist prosthodontic procedures
Front desk reception, including patient bookings, phone enquiries and payments
Infection control and sterilisation procedures
Maintaining a smooth workflow throughout the day
Providing exceptional patient care with a warm and professional manner
About You
You’re a confident and capable dental assistant who enjoys working with people just as much as working hands-on. You’ll thrive in a small team environment and have a genuine desire to make patients feel at ease.
You will need:
Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (or equivalent)
Dental assisting experience (essential)
Reception/Front Desk experience preferred but not essential
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A calm, friendly, and professional demeanour
Strong organisational and time management abilities
A flexible, team-focused attitude
Experience in a specialist or surgical setting (highly regarded, but not essential)
Working Hours
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7:30am – 5:30pm
Wednesday: 12:30pm – 5:30pm
Friday: 7:30am – 1:30pm (Some Friday afternoons required by arrangement)
